Study on Quality Efficiency for Bim-Based Construction Projects

The Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) has recently compelled the construction sector to employ Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a central repository for digital project information. BIM thus become major influence in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries (AEC). Although improves design quality by minimising disputes decreasing rework, there is limited study on applying it throughout control effective information use. Thus, this paper explores discusses efficiency of BIM-based projects. There were 206 questionnaires distributed government agencies/clients, consultants, contractors. Quantitative data analysis was conducted using Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS). Consequently, twenty-seven (27) attributes projects deemed determining factor three research groups (Government, consultant, contractor). result help players, especially contractors, giving roadmap be BIM-compliant seeing adoption process attain level 3 (full integration) Malaysian sector.
